The Three Competing Narratives About COVID-19: Let’s Go For The Truth!

From my point of view it seems like the public and not so public debate about COVID-19 is dominated by three different and competing narratives which I will describe in this post.

THE PROPAGANDA NARRATIVE

The Propaganda Narrative is the one that is being pushed by the mainstream media. It is the story that everybody has heard and it goes something like this:

SARS-CoV-2 is a new coronavirus which is very contagious and the cause of a new very dangerous disease called COVID-19. SARS-CoV-2 stands for Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2. COVID-19 stands for Coronavirus Disease 2019. It is a global pandemic which started in China.

Infection with SARS-CoV-2 can be detected with a PCR-test. Infection can be prevented by using facemasks, social distancing and societal lockdown. The only hope for any kind of return to normal life is vaccination of the total population which can be controlled by COVID-passport or maybe someday in the not so distant future by a microchip implanted into our bodies and connected to the 5G network – and thus introducing the new normal.

THE TRUTH-SEEKING NARRATIVE

The Truth-seeking Narrative is critical towards both The Propaganda Narrative and The Conspiracy-seeking Narrative. It simply seeks the truth about COVID-19 even if the truth is complex and psychologically hard to digest.

The Truth-seeking Narrative is constantly developing and changing based on evidence and the open, free exchange of arguments and points of view.

The Truth-seeking Narrative is open to both the health implications and the political implications of COVID-19. I consider myself an exponent of The Truth-seeking Narrative and at the moment is goes something like this:

While it is common sense to stay at home if you feel sick there is not sufficient evidence for the massive lockdown and freedom reducing politics that have been implemented all around the world to prevent COVID-19. There is nothing new in a new coronavirus and the immunesystem is perfectly capable of dealing with it as long as the body is well-nourished with special focus on Vitamin D, Vitamin C, zinc and selenium. The rest is deceptive propaganda to promote a political agenda which seems to have World Economic Forum as the main source of corruption. The real political agenda is not about public health but about public CONTROL including The Great Reset and The Fourth Industrial Revolution as decribed by the main suspect and criminal mastermind Klaus Schwab.

THE CONSPIRACY-SEEKING NARRATIVE

The Conspiracy-seeking Narrative is infecting truth-seekers whereby they effectively avoid the truth through a kind of overdoing their truth-seeking with a lack of critical, evidence-based thinking. Usually the Conspiracy-seeking Narrative has the same end-goal as The Propaganda Narrative – with the same masterminds pulling the strings – but the road to the goal and the target group is very different. Two opposing roads can lead to the same destination.

The Conspiracy-seeking Narrative is constantly changing and for the moment it may include ideas such as the one that vaccinated people are dangerous for the not-vaccinated people due to their shedding of spike proteins. This idea promotes the same goal of splitting the public into two groups that fight each other instead of their real common enemy.
